đ°Why didn't the Kindle people think of this sooner?
A genius Kindle bundle that solves a common reader problem, winter respites, a new 5-star romance for February, and more!
Hi Friday night readers,
First, some housekeeping.
Note that this is a long post best viewed in a web browser or the Substack app.

Also note that our Rory Gilmore reading challenge for February will feature books with film adaptations on Gilmore Girls, and the full list of options and my recommendations will be in your inboxes with Fridayâs podcast on 2/6. Our featured book of the month will be Wuthering Heights by Emily BrontĂ« to celebrate the new adaptation, which releases in the U.S. on February 13, 2026.
đOn My Radar: Kindle Bundles
I got a PR email about these new Kindle bundles, and I thought they were genius! No more wondering if your Kindle will fit your bagâa common reader problem. It comes with a matching bag!
Theyâre available on the Paperwhite (my favorite model) and Colorsoft models.
And the Sling Bag (available separately or as part of a bundle) is made with Gen Phoenixâs recycled leather, transforming leather waste into a premium, durable material in a lightweight, crossbody design with smart compartments.
Did somebody say Valentineâs Day?!
âȘIn Case You Missed It
đPosts
I relaunched my signature post! It comes after 2 years of painstakingly rewatching Gilmore Girls again and again, with a notebook, captions, and lots of pausing and researching. My goal was to provide the most accurate resource, as, quite simply, the other lists out there are just plain wrong.
And I featured The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis for our January reading challenge to read a kidsâ book from Gilmore Girls. I tied its winter themes into the winters in our own lives (both literal and figurative), and itâs one of my favorite pieces yet. This is really what Iâm looking to do here going forward, and I hope you like(d) it!

In case you arenât on the Substack app or just missed it, here is a recap of my most popular notes. Notes are like a social media feed, but without all the ads and doomscrolling. Just nice things!
